Opal Flowering Basil
We grow our Opal basil for their gorgeous and fragrant flower spikes - an eclectic addition to a personal garden bouquet, having the flower spikes peep out of the bouquet. Multifunctional and of course it is edible and makes a delicious pesto and interesting addition to salads.
Growing instructions on pack.
Plant in early summer, late spring after the last frost (or inside up to 6 weeks before the last frost date).
Pinch the top 5cm off the main stalk when plants are about 15cm tall to encourage branching and a more robust plant.
